All assignment reflections.

Narrative essay reflections: AfQ1: Yes, I have written a similar type of story in high school. It was similar to the story I wrote for your class in that I bashed my family and former self. The main theme of both stories I mentioned was about finding oneself and trying to grow past family issues.

AfQ2: My narrative tells many stories depending on what you’re looking for and who’s reading. If you’re a teenager with family issues you would read it as a person who has gone through many family issues, trying to do better and grow past the person they are. If you’re a parent thinking about having kids, take this as a story on what not to do when raising a kid that way they don’t have that many issues when growing up.

AfQ6: I have many things I think I could improve on, for example, my grammar. My message conveying skills need some work as well because I feel like a lot of people didn’t get the message of my story, and that’s fine, but as a writer I need to work on. I do feel like my story is good and can get someone interested in it.

Bibliography refection: I never knew the story until I read it in class, but I did know a bit about the Holocaust and heard of Annie Frank. Doing this research made me realize that I need to work on my citation skills as well as research skills. I mainly used the examples posted on the context part of Brightspace to help me out with this. If I were to do this again, I would try to do better research and summery.

CRA essay refection:Ok I’m going to be 100 honest, highest grade I think I deserve is a C mainly because my work at best is sloppy and barely complete. I wrote about Borowski’s “This way for the Gas Ladies, and Gentlemen” and if I were to rewrite it, I would change the topic and thesis. I also needed to do better research.
